The 6th Annual Dublin Cystinosis Workshop 2020 will take place on Thursday 9 July 2020 at the Royal Marine Hotel, Dun Laoghaire, Ireland.
The purpose of this meeting to facilitate further collaboration between cystinosis research groups world-wide and raise awareness of cystinosis in researchers with relevant expertise but not currently involved in cystinosis research.
The workshop will host researchers and clinicians from across Ireland, Europe, New Zealand and North America.
The aim is to assemble a small group (<50) researchers and clinicians for a short workshop to discuss their research activities in cystinosis.
This year, the workshop is being held in conjunction with the 11th Cystinosis Network Europe Cystinosis Conference 2020 (10th-12th July 2020) at the same venue. This biennial conference is essentially the only one of its kind in Europe. It combines high-level scientific presentations by internationally renowned academics and clinicians together with family- and patient-focused panel sessions aimed at highlighting research breakthroughs, educating and sharing knowledge between professionals and cystinosis patients and their families with a view to improving healthcare outcomes for individuals living with this challenging rare disease.
As the Dublin Cystinosis Workshop will be hosted in association with the International Cystinosis Conference 2020, we expect a very strong line up of speakers to participate at both events.
Please note, that while there is a charge for attending the International Cystinosis Conference, the Dublin Cystinosis Workshop is free to attend.
