Cystinosis Ireland is currently seeking Expressions of Interest
Funding up to €300,000 (€100,000 p.a.)
While the scheme funds to a maximum of €300,000 lower amounts welcome and favourably considered
Duration of Funding: 12 to 36 months
The 2023/24 HRB Joint Funding Scheme will be formally launched in July 2023. More details can be found here
Expected start date for projects within Ireland September 2024 and outside of Ireland January 2025. Tentative deadline for Submission to Cystinosis Ireland mid-October (to be confirmed).
Cystinosis Ireland participates in the HRB Joint Funding Scheme in which patient organisations, such as Cystinosis Ireland, and the HRB share the cost of funding high quality research activities of particular relevance to our community.
Funding is available to researchers worldwide.
Cystinosis Ireland is currently seeking expressions of interest from researchers worldwide.

- Title of the proposed research project.
- Short description of the research proposed and the potential impact for patients living with cystinosis (please use plain English for a non-scientific audience).
- Please indicate if you already have preliminary data in your application.
- Brief details of proposed Public and Patient Involvement (PPI).
- Please state if you plan to have research collaborator(s) from Ireland or elsewhere.
- Names of one or two potential peer reviewers unconnected with the proposed research or researchers.
